calls for FRLS cables under scope where as
the GTP mentions PVC type ST2 under point
no.8.
Outer sheath to be provided with FRLS
PVC conforming to relevant IS.
2 Vol-1, Sec-VI
Under point no.6 (a) of GTP, your
requirement is of PVC tape where as point 6
(b) calls for extruded. It can either be PVC
tape or extruded please clarify.
Inner sheath to be provided with extruded
PVC as per IS 7098/Part-II/1985 and
amended up to date
3 Vol-1, Sec-VI
The requirement of SC 13.12KV/18.35 KA
for 3 sec. This require copper wire screen in
place of Cu tape as mentioned in 5 (b) of
GTP.
Copper wire screen shall be applied with
100% coverage instead of copper tape
because of the requirement of short circuit
current 18.35 KA for 3 seconds
