Information of Award of contract
Bids for the work of Providing, Laying, Jointing, Testing and Commissioning of Raw Water Transmission Main from Harwan Reservoir to Nishat Water Treatment Plant in Srinagar City: under contract Package No JKUSIP Srinagar/WS-01 was invited following ADB’s single stage-two envelope bidding procedure under National Competitive Bidding procedure.
By the dead line for bid submission, total six bidders named in Column 1 of table below submitted their bids. The Technical bids of all the six bidders were evaluated Substantially Responsive and Qualified. No bid was rejected or evaluated non responsive.
The Price bids of all the six substantially responsive bidders were opened. The bid price as read out at bid opening and the evaluated bid price of each bidder is given in column 2 and 3 of Table below.

The work mainly includes Providing, Laying, Jointing, Testing and Commissioning of 1000 mm Ductile Iron pipes including specials and fittings in a approximate length of 5.1 Kms from Harwan Reservoir to Nishat Water Treatment Plant in Srinagar City to feed raw water to the water treatment plants at Nishat. Contract completion period is 18 months.
